Pastor VINCENT KINENE
Vincent accepted the Lord in 1998 under bizarre circumstances. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree of Makerere University, and finding regular employment rather not forthcoming, Vincent decided to join the freelance journalism brigade.
A very thorough and enthusiastic feature writer, Vincent strived to gather enough basic arguments on a very moving article: ”There is no God”. Many of his published works titillated the general readership, but this particular article never got to the editors. “There was always something incomplete about it. As if some angle was missing,” he says.
Wobbling from Catholic Masses to demonic Shrines had become part of his spiritual routine. At University he was reknown for pelting Born again Christians at gospel rostrums with rotten orange peels. That is if they had powerful sound systems to drown his salvo of obscenities.
The impunity with which he disrupted crusades was a basic argument in support of his notion. He believed that the Holy Scriptures were a collection of vain babblings created by people whom he thought abbreviated GOD for: Go Overseas and Deceive.
In his free time, Vincent became an advisor to witchdoctors. His vast knowledge in chemistry was useful to witchdoctors planning poisonous concoctions. He also helped them to make fake precious stones. But despite his loyalty to the devil, his life was becoming more and more miserable. His logical scientific mind was keeping a sharp record of the lies, failures, injustices and corruption in the satanic ministry. Unfortunately it was not until 1998 that he was consulted to address a peculiar Christian-related paradox.
A woman, who had hoped to start a multi million joint business partnership with Vincent’s friend, Kiggundu, another devilish follower, had abandonned the venture. Her explanation for the withdrawal was simple as she later on revealed. She stated that she was Born Again. She revealed that she was too freaked out to discover that her would-be business partner, was a devil worshipper.
As usual, Vincent was consulted to help correct the situation. “Let us join her Christian church Fellowship, pretend and deceive her that we are born again. After we have re-gained her trust, we can easily defraud her and ‘evaporate.’”
Vincent and his friend Kiggundu never got the chance to defraud the Born-again Lady. In September 1998, Vincent came to witness his first Holy Ghost fire baptism life. The sheer presence of healing, deliverance, signs, wonders, peace and love in the church were non quantifiable. No scientific model could attempt to explain them. Vincent had found home.
In 2001, after 3 years of church-backbench bliss, with multiple personal testimonies and many revelations, Vincent was called into Ministry.
From 2001, starting with a congregation size of 0 (his first 2 services didn’t attract any worshippers. He had to preach to empty benches), Vincent is now the Lead Pastor of Mirembe Church of Christ. This Church has the fastest growing congregation in Mubende district- Uganda. It has of late become the undisputed major Referral centre for the Demon possessed in the region.

Mirembe Church of Christ operates under the auspices of Kassanda Cornerstone Foundation, KCF. KCF is a Non Governmental Organization registered under the NGO board under registration S.5914/4031. KCF Field Office is Located near the premises of Mirembe Church of Christ Kassanda.
The church is approximately 99 km west of Kampala - Uganda. It is located in a predominantly agricultural and rural setting.
The location is in Busengejjo Local Council 1, Kitongo Parish, Kassanda Sub-county, Kassanda North Constituency, Kassanda County, and Mubende District, Uganda. East Africa.

Mityana town, which is 69km west of Kampala, is the nearest largest town.
 10 km from Mityana on the Mityana-Mubende tarmac highway is Myanzi town.
 From Myanzi town you turn right on the Myanzi -Kassanda -Bukuya marrum road.
 Kassanda Town is 10 km from Myanzi town.
 The Church is 1.3 km from Kassanda Town on the Kassanda-Bukuya road.
