Becoming a Child Sponsor
For as little as $60.00 a quarter, you can dramatically change a child's life. Your quarterly gift will provide tuition, lunch, a uniform and pair of shoes per year, and medical assistance when needed. This applies for the A and B (Infant and Lower Primary plus upper Primary grouping).
There are also opportunities to sponsor College/polytechnic/ institute/university students (Ci, Cii, Di,Dii and E )grouping require more than one sponsor each as the financial requirements almost quadruple as one ascends the scale). Your quarterly gift covers tuition, scholastic materials, housing, meals and medical assistance when needed. It takes about 2 to 8 weeks to get an ordinary mail to Uganda. Giving a quarterly gift gives KCF and the sponsored child ample time to plan for the eventualities. Similar time is required to debit and credit International cheques in Uganda.
Sponsoring a child is more than just giving money. You will be regarded you as a gift from God and the sponsored child will pray for you each day as well as write letters to you. Your involvement in a child's life makes a dramatic difference.

Please complete the information below to begin your sponsorship. If you make a blanket choice, the Sponsorship Staff will select a child or student based on the preferences you designate.

Sending Letters and Gifts to Uganda
While it’s not required that you write to your child, we strongly encourage you do to so. Letters let your sponsored child know that they are important to you. Letters also help increase the child’s literacy and communication skills. You may write to your child as often as you like.
Topics that will interest your child include church, school, work, favorite pastimes, family, customs and traditions, and prayer requests. Your child will also greatly enjoy pictures of you and your family. Letters do not have to be long or extremely detailed. They should also avoid the following topics:
• Excessive detail about your possessions (home, car, etc.). This will only point out differences between you and your child.
• Using slang and language your child will not understand.
• Inviting your child to visit your country.
You may email a letter of up to 2 pages and attach one photo.
Please send all longer letters or packages to Uganda directly. It is very important that you write your child’s name and ID number, (e.g. Ci177), on each page of correspondence and on any additional items you enclose.

In the Mirembe Church of Christ, thanks to the explosion of the Holy Ghost works, discipleship is not keeping pace with evangelism. Church planting is out-pacing pastoral training, and untrained leaders are coming into key positions and if unchecked, will soon have congregations ill-equipped to speak to the issues challenging the Ugandan Christian.
Despite the need for pastoral training, Mirembe church of Christ and all its partners’ churches lack the funds to send their pastors and church leaders to Bible School. Churches must deal with more pressing social issues such as AIDS, other diseases, ignorance, the orphan crisis and poverty. Many times Bible training gets overlooked. The gospel has come to Uganda but there are only a handful of qualified leaders for churches that are filling to capacity day-in-day-out. You can help us stop this by sponsoring a Bible Institute Student today and Church Minister today..
Individual Church Workers are not assigned to each sponsor.
What does Sponsorship Cover?
Each student needs $300/month for tuition for the 24-month program. You may donate all or part of a student’s tuition. You may also donate directly to Mirembe Church of Christ that is running a Cost Centre for Bible Institute Students. Your Sponsorship will do the following,
• Provide pastors and church leaders with the opportunity to receive a sound Biblical foundation.
• Connect students with support through prayer and letters of encouragement.
• Strengthen churches that could not afford to send their leaders for training.
• Raise awareness for the need for Bible training.
