Caring for children,
one life at a time

The Kamusenene Children's Foundation (KCF) is a non-profit Community-Based Organization serving orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable children in Kamusenene–Buluya Town Council, Kassanda District, Central Uganda. We have been growing together for more than six years.

We provide the basics every child deserves: nutritious food from our own working farm, clean water from a community borehole, safe shelter, school fees and supplies, healthcare, clothing, and skills training so these children can build independent futures.

"With your support, we can transform these children into productive, healthy and happy individuals who shall later be major influencers to their community, country, and the world."

KCF cares for up to 90 children at a time. Many have known loss that no child should face. What they find at KCF is a community: people who see them, feed them, teach them, and believe in what they can become.

Vision

A world where every child has access to basic needs, education, healthcare, and the resources to realize their full potential.

Mission

To foster vulnerable children through a Christian, healthy, fair, safe, and moral start in life.

Projects that sustain
a whole community

Every project at KCF began with a need and grew through the generosity of supporters around the world. These are the foundations the children stand on.

The KCF five-hectare farm

Food Security · Est. 2021

The Five-Hectare Farm

Built with donor support, our farm grows maize, sweet potatoes, beans, and more. Harvests feed the children directly; surplus is sold to generate income for school fees, rent, and supplies — making KCF increasingly self-sustaining.

The Kamusenene village borehole

Clean Water · Est. 2021

The Kamusenene Borehole

In 2021 we drilled a clean water well for the entire village. With households of 8–12 people, the borehole now serves over 1,000 individuals daily — including people who walk from neighboring villages to access this free, clean water source.

KCF chicken and poultry project

Poultry for Nutrition & Income

Our chicken project provides protein for the children and generates income through egg and poultry sales. We are actively seeking funding to expand the flock — a larger operation would meaningfully increase KCF's food security and independence.

How to support KCF

Donate via GoFundMe

KCF is currently a Community-Based Organization working toward full NGO registration. International donations are channeled securely through our GoFundMe campaign and transferred directly to the Foundation.

Every dollar goes toward the children's food, school fees, healthcare, and the continuation of KCF's community projects. One-time and recurring contributions are both welcome and deeply appreciated.

Donate on GoFundMe

A direct monthly donation portal will be available once KCF completes NGO registration.
